Kingston's Incredible
Fort Fright!

It's something to see, and something to do, so I've included the Kingston attraction to the Kingston Activities List.

What is it?

For about six weeks every fall, a segment of Kingston's treasure ~ Fort Henry ~ is transformed into a house of fright; guaranteed to scare the bejeebers out of young and old alike.

They challenge... "Dare you enter the most frightful citadel in Ontario? Featuring amazing animatronics, live ghouls, hidden surprises, guaranteed goosebumps and screams!"

Fort Henry, like many other military establishments of the time, was host to a hospital and infirmary grounds. This stone house is located at the eastern advances of the Fort and is visible in the distance from the ramparts level. This house would have been home to the bodies of many of the men who have died in and around this area before burial and is said to still today have hosts of spirits near by. executioner

WARNING! Not recommended for children 10 and under as it does have areas that are rather frightening.

Fort Fright is both an indoor and outdoor attraction. It can get rather cold during the hours of Fort Fright. We recommend that you dress appropriately for cold weather.

The screams begin in September and continue Tuesday through Saturday nights until early November, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The Box Office at Fort Henry will open at 6:00 pm and will close at 9:30 pm Tuesday - Saturday. (LAST TICKETS SOLD AT 9:30 P.M. TO ALLOW AMPLE TIME TO TOUR THE ATTRACTION)

RIP cat If being scared out of your wits makes you hungry, then consider taking in the Fort Fright Dining experience at the Old Bones Bistro.
